Quiet
Hours
This shoot happened in an old apartment filled with furniture that had actual history. The kind of space where you move carefully because everything matters. I loved being surrounded by all these objects that have seen decades pass, it made everything feel more real.
The dress was almost too much fabric, but that's what made it work. Sitting on the floor with a book wasn't posed. I actually started reading between shots and just stayed there. The candles were burning down naturally, the light coming through those tall windows was perfect.
There's something about being in spaces like this that changes how you feel in front of the camera. You're not performing a fantasy, you're just existing in a moment that feels like it could've happened a hundred years ago or yesterday morning.
